Made in Canada
Foot Lining: Sheepskin Shearling
Materials: Cowhide Suede, Rabbit Fur
Sole: Tipi Vibram
A ‘mukluk’ is an Indigenous word for ‘winter boot’. Our ancestors created them thousands of years ago out of natural hides and fur in order to survive in the coldest places in Canada. This Kanada Mukluk is the most iconic mukluk style and has been passed down to us from generation to generation. Now as a contemporary Métis company, we continue the tradition by combining modern techniques and materials to make functional mukluks for urban environments. The footbed is sheepskin-lined and the sole was made in partnership between Vibram and an Indigenous artist.
The Kanada Mukluk is also part of a special collection that features artist-designed beadwork. Rosa Scribe (Cree, Norway House) designed the distinctive ‘snowflake’ pattern for the vamp and receives a portion of every sale.

Mukluks and Moccasins with the Tipi sole fit half a size larger than average footwear and will stretch with wear. We suggest going down one size for any style with this sole. If you are a half size, go down to the nearest full size.
There is no left or right foot in this type of sole, the material will form to your foot for a custom fit.
This product tends to fit big. We recommend sizing down by one full size versus most other footwear.
